4th Grade Bloggers: My Spring Break

Spring break is a great time to recharge your batteries and spend time with family and friends.  Some people go away on vacation, while others stay at home for a fun "staycation."  Think about your spring break.  What was your favorite part?  Was it watching a movie with your family?  Touring Disney World for the first time?  Riding your bike in the sunshine?  What ever it was that made your spring break specials, that is what we want to hear about!

4th Grade Bloggers: Helping Hand

Everybody has a time in their life where they need a helping hand.  Maybe they are learning a new skill and need help from someone with experience.  Maybe they are sad and need a friend to brighten their day.  Sometimes the person we are helping is a friend.  Sometimes the person is someone we don't know on the other side of the world.  Some people call helping others "Paying it Forward."  This means that they help others because they know that someday they will probably need help, too and they hope someone is there to help them.  Others help people because it makes them feel good inside and they know it is how God would want us to treat people.  Whatever the reason, it is important to help others.

This weeks blog post topic is...
What is one thing I can do to help out someone this week?

Please do not use names.  We want to help keep our friends information private.  Be specific with the details in your post.

4th Grade Bloggers: What makes you happy?

It is very easy to focus on the negative things that are happening in our lives, but today we are going to turn that around and look at our glasses half full instead of half empty.

For your assignment, think about 1 thing that made you happy over the past week.

In the comment section, post what made you happy and why it made you feel that way.  It can be something as simple as getting a perfect score on your test or as big as going on a trip with your family.  It is up to you.

I look forward to reading your responses!
