Students should be bringing home there Wordle projects in the next week or so. We are waiting to get them all printed.
Project #2: Cyber Bullying - Part 2
This week we will continue our projects learning about cyber bullying, what it is and what to do if it is happening to you or one of your friends.
Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4
We will continue our lesson on Cyberbullying. A few of the classes (2nd and 4th grade) will take the Cyberbully quiz since we didn't get to it last week: http://learninglab.org/life_skills/cyberbullying/82c42c3428a8be8b77bbb0f535426ae8/teachers_guide_cyberbullying.pdf
After we finish up our quizzes, we will move on to our projects about Cyberbullying:
- First Grade will create acrostic posters with the word Cyberbully using Microsoft Word. The students will find and insert clip art pictures that describe what a cyberbully is and what to do if you are cyberbullied. 1st grade students will only do 1 letter.
- Second Grade will also create acrostic posters with the word Cyberbully using Microsoft Word. 2nd grade students will do 3 letter.
- Third and Fourth Grade will begin creating a PSA announcement about cyberbullying. We will watch a sample video, then the students will begin working with a small group to write a script and decide what they want included in their PSA.
Grade 5
Our fifth graders will continue doing an extended project about being a Christian Digital Citizen. The first component of the project involves learning about Cyberbullying. Like the third and fourth graders, the fifth graders will also be creating a PSA about cyberbullying.
